The Morton Grove Police Department implemented "Virtual Block Watch" with the purpose of enlisting the help of property owners who have outdoor video cameras to solve neighborhood crimes.

West Nile Virus Infected Mosquitoes Increasing in Areas of the NSMAD

North Shore Mosquito Abatement District (NSMAD) surveillance indicates that the risk from West Nile virus is increasing. The greatest increases have occurred in the Southern parts of the District including the municipalities of Evanston, Lincolnwood, Morton Grove and Skokie.

2017 Street Improvement Program

The Village of Morton Grove is pleased to announce the commencement of the 2017 Street Improvement Program. This year’s program has been awarded to Schroeder Asphalt Services, Inc.

Spring/Summer Sweeping Schedule

Beginning May 1, 2017, street sweeping will change to a “summer schedule”. Only one street sweeper will be sweeping all Village streets. The sweeper will be able to sweep all areas within a two week time frame. Sweeping will occur on the regular day every other week.
