Welcome Home to the Village of Morton Grove

The Village of Morton Grove is a near north suburb of Chicago located 13 miles north of "The Loop," 8 miles northeast of O’Hare Airport, and 6 miles west of Lake Michigan.

Although primarily residential, the Village has significant commercial and industrial areas. Approximately 20% of the land in the community is owned by the Cook County Forest Preserve District and is set aside for open space and recreation. The Community is the home of award-winning parks and schools.

Villages Of Niles and Morton Grove Continue Joint Effort to Secure Long Term Water Supply Agreement.

The Villages of Niles and Morton Grove currently purchase water from the city of Chicago. Morton Grove’s contract with the city expires in 2018 and Niles contract expires in 2019. Since 2008 water rates charged by Chicago have risen by 114%. Due to these increases, our close proximity, the opportunity to share costs and possible economies of scale, Niles and Morton Grove are exploring alternative water supply agreements.
