Illinois Distracted Driving Awareness Week

The Morton Grove Police Department will again participate in Illinois Distracted Driving Awareness Week , April 23-27, and conduct an enforcement campaign of Illinois’ distracted driving laws.

Document Destruction and Electronics Recycling Event 2018

On Saturday, May 19th, the Village of Morton Grove will host a combined recycling event at the Civic Center, 6140 Dempster Avenue, from 9 a.m. to noon.

Adopt A Planter Program

The Community Relations Commission invites all Village residents and businesses to participate in the Village’s 2018 Adopt A Planter Program. Individuals, families, organizations, businesses and other groups may sign up to “adopt” one of the large Village planters located at the train station, and Civic Center, and along Dempster Street from Central to Lehigh Avenue, and along Waukegan Road.

Morton Grove Niles Water Commission Announces Collaboration with City of Evanston for Water Supply Improvement Project

The Villages of Morton Grove and Niles are partnering with the City of Evanston to supply residents of Morton Grove and Niles with safe, high-quality water, at a stabilized rate that allows for future infrastructure improvements. This project will construct a new water supply system from the City of Evanston, through Skokie to Morton Gove and Niles. This project will result in capital improvements for the four communities including reconstruction of streets, curbs and gutters along the route.
