A licensed social worker is available to village residents for counseling and social work services. These services include:

• Short-term counseling to individuals and families who are experiencing emotional, social, or interpersonal relationship problems.
• Functioning as a liaison between village residents and other agencies to mobilize needed resources including emergency financial assistance and housing assistance.

Services provided by the social worker are confidential and by appointment only, although in emergencies, counseling is provided the day of referral. The initial office visit is free.  Services thereafter are based upon income. No one is refused service due to inability to pay.
