Seniortran Bus
Bus transportation is available to seniors for shopping, medical appointments, and other errands within the Village, as well as, for trips to the Senior Center. Cost is $3.00 each way. Reservations can be made by calling the Senior Hotline, (847) 470-5223.

Senior Cab Discount Coupons
Senior citizen residents are eligible for the Senior Taxi Discount Program. The coupons provide a $2.25 discount on each one-way ride through taxicab service provided by the American Taxi Company. Applications must be completed at the Senior Center.

RTA Discount Program
The Reduced Fare Permit, offered by the Regional Transportation Authority (RTA), allows senior citizens and qualified persons with disabilities to ride all RTA services for free. These services include CTA buses and rapid transit, Pace buses, and Metra trains in the six-county regions served by the RTA.

ADA Paratransit Service
ADA Paratransit Service provides transportation for riders whose disability or health condition may prevent them from using fixed route service. Individuals who are interested in using this service must apply and be found eligible according to the ADA guidelines.

Council for Jewish Elderly
CJE is willing to provide transportation services to Morton Grove senior who need assistance in getting to medical appointments outside our range of service but within CJE's. For example, if a resident needs to go to Evanson Hospital, they can contact CJE for transportation. There is an initial yearly charge of $25.00 then the cost is $6.00 each way. CJE's boundaries are all of Evanston, south into Chicago to Chicago Avenue, west to Skokie Blvd (with the exception that they will come into Morton Grove to pick up residents). They will not provide transportation to destinations within Morton Grove as that is our area. To register for this service, the resident needs to call "Entry" at 773-508-1000. The Entry Person will set them up. Reservations can be made up to one (1) month prior to appointment.
