MOREways MORE Than a Luncheon

Friday, March 3, 11:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

In honor of the Ides of March, our next luncheon will be a toga party. So, don your best bedsheet and Roman over for the festivities. We’ll feast on a buffet fit for an emperor and enjoy some live entertainment.
Cost: $13 with advance reservation / $15 at the door.

Coffee Chat - FREE

Virtual Reality

Monday March 13, 9:30 a.m.-10:30 a.m.

Learn about the latest technology innovation, Virtual Reality. We will discuss the different types from cardboard sets to augmented reality. Then we will have live demonstrations with the best VR set available. Join us!

Medical Marijuana

Monday: March 20, 9:30 a.m.-10:30 a.m.

Topics will include: the history of cannabis; the science of cannabis and how it works with the body; administration methods; dosing for specific conditions; the application process and physician and patient requirements.

MG Park District-Better Balance

Mondays & Wednesdays: March 1, 6, 8, 13, 15, 20, 22, 27, 29, 10:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m.

This class is designed to enhance core strength, balance, coordination, stability and flexibility. Cost: $40 for 8-week 1 day a week program; $80 for 8-week 2 day a week program.

Wii Games - FREE

Mondays: March 6, 13, 20, 27, 12:30-2:30 p.m.

Who needs a bowling alley or a golf course when you have a Wii game system? Try something new and bowl or golf in the main hall. No ball or clubs necessary, but bowling and golf shirts are welcome!

If you play an instrument, carry a tune, or just clap your hands, you can be a jammer! Bring your guitar, harmonica, or musical instrument of your choice, and meet other musicians and make music together!

AARP Smart Driving Course

Gentle Yoga

Thursdays: March 2, 9, 16, 23, 30, 1:00-2:00 p.m.

Come to chair yoga class! Yoga has been proved to increase flexibility and muscle tone. It is an enduring total body workout. No experience necessary and all skill levels welcome. Cost: $4 per class

I Am Not an Artist/Cutting Like Matisse

As Matisse grew older, dealing with declining eyesight, he took to the scissors and papers to create a new invention and appreciation of the most essential shapes and forms. Inspired by Matisse, that is what we do!

I Am Not an Artist/What Is the Color of Spring

We will be working with colors, tones, hues, and values and explore how we perceive the color of spring. We will also decide what we think that color is!

Zumba Gold

Zumba is a cardio-based fitness class that fuses Latin and International rhythms and movements. Zumba Gold format is designed for the active older adult or the beginner participants. It features dances from popular rhythms such as meringue, salsa, cha cha, flamenco, tango, rock and roll and more. Come join the class and get ready to have fun. No dance experience required. Cost: $4 per class
