Caribbean Fiesta Luncheon

This program is intended to address factors that impact functions of the older adult’s heart. We will review the anatomy and physiology of the heart, as well as the peripheral vascular system.

Brain Health Series Part 3: Head Strong - FREE

In this session, different activity challenges will be offered to challenge the brain. Researchers agree that this is beneficial throughout life and especially as individuals grow older.

International Film Shorts Festival and Discussions

MG Park District-Better Balance

It takes only three minutes (and a simple finger stick blood test) to find out if your blood sugar level is where it should be. Also have your blood pressure screened. It will do your heart good.

Gentle Yoga

In this class, we will look at stained glass and the stories it tells. We will make our own tissue paper stained glass work and share the story it tells. We will work with tissue paper, watercolors, oil pastels, brushes, and sponges.

Zumba Gold

Zumba is a cardio-based fitness class that fuses Latin and International rhythms and movements. Zumba Gold format is designed for the active older adult or the beginner participants. It features dances from popular rhythms such as meringue, salsa, cha cha, flamenco, tango, rock and roll and more. Come join the class and get ready to have fun. No dance experience required. Cost: $4 per class
