Morton Grove is once again offering residents an opportunity to participate in the Village: 50/50 Tree Planting Program.
The 50/50 Tree Planting Program works like this; if you choose a certain type of tree that you would like to be planted in the parkway, you can do so by paying 50% of the cost. The Village of Morton Grove will pay the other 50% of the cost. This yearโs the cost for the resident is $60.00 per tree.

The Village of Morton Grove will be planting 1โ caliper #10 container trees.
Only two (2) of the tree choices can or will be planted under overhead power lines. They are the Lilacโs and/or the Crabapple trees. If you have no power lines, any tree can be planted if it doesnโt interfere with any of the factor listed above.
To take part in the 50/50 Tree Planting Program, simply fill out this form and make a check out to the Village of Morton Grove. Please submit payment and forms at the Village Hall (6101 Capulina Ave.) to pay for your trees. Please note - this is a first come first serve program. Act fast, because certain species will go quickly.
THE DEADLINE FOR THIS PROGRAM IS APRIL 1, 2024
We are expecting to plant the trees the first weeks of May 2024.
TREES WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE AFTER JANUARY 1, 2024 at VILLAGE HALL ONLY
