Governor Pritzker and the Illinois Department of Public Health have approved the state’s progression to the Phase 4 “Bridge” to Phase 5.
Please use the below links to learn more about what this means to Illinois residents.
The federal Center for Disease Control (CDC) recently provided updated guidance particular to the wearing of masks. Some of the CDC mask guidance update may conflict with the safety policies and standards of some local businesses and merchants. The current Illinois Phase 4 social distancing, face covering and facility disinfection standards will continue to be enforced on, and within, all Morton Grove municipal properties and municipal buildings. However, the updated indoor and outdoor gathering capacity limits will be modified to include the “Bridge” standards.
The federal, state and county standards continue to evolve. Until IDPH or the Cook County Department of Public Health (CCDPH) provide other specific local guidance, the Village recommends that, when in doubt, residents continue to follow the 3 W’s: Watch your distance, Wear a mask and Wash your hands.
