The 2026 Concrete Sidewalk Replacement Program is scheduled to begin work on Monday, July 20, weather dependent. The work involves replacement of sidewalk in various locations throughout town. Locations are primarily selected based on surveys during prior years’ Concrete Sawcutting Programs. The attached map shows the locations of the work. This duration of the concrete work will be approximately one week from the start of work. Associated grass and asphalt restoration will occur at a later date.
This project will primarily be within the Village’s sidewalk and will be minimally disruptive to Village services and emergency response. Traffic will be maintained through the work zone while work occurs. Work includes some concrete curb and driveway repair associated with water main breaks. There is one concrete street patch at 8944 Mansfield. Traffic will be reduced to one lane in front of this address.
