Low Income Home Water Assistance Program
CEDA has launched a Low Income Household Water Assistance Program to assist eligible residents in paying past due water bills. This program provides funds to assist low-income households with water and wastewater bills. The program goal is to prevent disconnection and restore drinking water and wastewater services to eligible households and reduce utility related debt.
Under the program, households at or below 200% of federal poverty income guidelines and past due on a water bill would be eligible for financial assistance. CEDA would be responsible for application review and determination of eligibility. If a household is approved, they would be eligible for a one-time payment of up to $1,500. The payment would be made directly to the Village and applied to the resident's water account. Both owners and renters can apply for assistance through this program.
Residents can apply be calling (800) 571-2332 or visiting cedaorg.net/sites. More Information is available here.
