Village Services During Restore Illinois

The Morton Grove Village Hall located at 6101 Capulina Avenue is currently open to the public for business. Visitors to Village Hall will be subject to social distancing and face covering requirements. Residents are encouraged to visit Village Hall only for essential business that must be transacted in person.

Village Hall Temporary Hours of Operation:

Monday through Friday:

8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Village Hall will be closed on Saturdays and Sundays

Reminders:

  • Vehicle sticker and pet license payments can be dropped off at the front counter of Village Hall. These payments and will also be accepted in the exterior drop boxes or online.
  • All vehicle stickers and pet licenses will be mailed to residents.
  • Many other services continue to be available via the Village website or over the phone. Payments are also accepted in Village drop boxes.

A Special Meeting of the Village Board of Trustees was held on March 18, 2020. At that meeting, Mayor DiMaria issued a Declaration of Local State of Emergency for Village of Morton Grove due to COVID-19. This declaration will enable the Village to receive additional funding and assistance from state and federal agencies to respond to the impacts of COVID-19. This ordinance provides the Mayor and the Village Administrator authorization for each to use, if necessary, emergency powers to respond to this emergency and to maintain appropriate levels of Village services. Click here for a copy of Ord. 20-08
Room rentals and limited customer services will resume under the restrictions of Phase 4 of Restore Illinois on 07/06/20. Rooms rented for meetings and other activities will be configured to accommodate no more than 50 people with patrons wearing masks when social distancing is not feasible. Daytime staffing of the front desk will be limited to times when rooms are rented or when other activities are occurring.
In order to protect the health of our older customers, ALL ON-SITE VILLAGE SENIOR PROGRAMMING REMAINS SUSPENDED. Please click here for Senior Programming offered remotely. The Medical Lending Closet and Drug/Sharps drop-off will be accommodated by appointment only. The main number of the Civic Center is 847 663-3070. Rental information can be obtained at 847 663-3071.
The adjudication of local citations will continue as scheduled on the citation or as otherwise rescheduled by written correspondence with the Village.
