“Join the Morton Grove Fire Department for our annual Open House on Saturday, October 4, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Morton Grove Fire Station #4. This free, family-friendly event offers an exciting afternoon filled with live demonstrations, hands-on activities, and community partnerships. Attendees can watch a live fire sprinkler demonstration, try out hands-on fire extinguisher training, and even slide down the fire pole like a real firefighter.
In addition to fire safety education, there will be pumpkin decorating for kids, delicious options from local food trucks, and a chance to meet adoptable dogs from Wright-Way Rescue. We’re also teaming up with Project Fire Buddies to raise funds in support of children battling critical illnesses. It’s a great way to spend the day with family, learn valuable safety skills, and give back to meaningful causes in our community. We look forward to seeing you there.”
