The Village’s 2026 Sewer Lining Program began on August 7 and is expected to continue through the first week of October. Hoerr Construction is currently cleaning and inspecting sanitary sewer lines in preparation for the lining process, which is anticipated to begin within the next few weeks.

The cleaning is performed with a low-pressure, high-volume water jetting machine. Periodically, Problems can be experienced where pressure in the sewer line forces water out of toilet traps in homes. As a measure to keep this water contained and prevent any damage, residents are asked to keep their toilets flushed, drape a towel over the rim and close the lid and seat onto the towel. Residents should also cover their basement floor drains as a precautionary measure.

Residents in scheduled work areas will receive a door notice with instructions prior to work. Please use caution around construction vehicles and equipment and follow all posted notices.

This trenchless rehabilitation work will help extend the service life of the Village’s sanitary sewer system while minimizing excavation and disruption. Thank you for your patience and cooperation!
